LANSING, Mich. — Sen. Ruth Johnson, R-Holly, welcomed retired Sgt. Vern Miller of Grand Blanc to the state Capitol on Tuesday as her guest for the Michigan Senate’s 26th Annual Memorial Day Service, which honored Michigan’s fallen soldiers.
Miller is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and currently a teacher at Fenton High School.
