LANSING, Mich. — Sen. Ruth Johnson, R-Holly, invited the Rev. Todd Vanaman to the Capitol to give the invocation before Senate session on Wednesday.
Vanaman is the pastor at the Dixie Baptist Church in Springfield Township and was welcomed to the Capitol by Sen. Lana Theis, R-Brighton, who serves as assistant president pro tempore of the Senate.
