LANSING, Mich. — Sen. Ruth Johnson, R-Holly, escorted justices of the Michigan Supreme Court into the House chamber on Wednesday night for Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s 2024 State of the State address and welcomed Shelby Township Supervisor Rick Stathakis to the Capitol as her guest for the event. Stathakis is a certified workers compensation advisor, has lived in Shelby Township for 25 years and has served as supervisor since 2009.
